The MEXT Research Scholarship 2022 is one of the best research scholarships for Students. The Government of Japan offers this fully-funded international scholarship opportunity. The vital part of this scholarship is that IELTS/TOEFL is not required to apply for the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Program 2022.

Candidates can apply for Mater’s or Ph.D. degree program. MEXT Research Scholarship for Students is a fully funded scholarship including airfare, tuition fee, and stipend. A candidate has to submit his or her application to the Embassy of Japan in Pakistan, and after selection, he or she can apply for the host university across Japan. Students from other countries use MEXT Scholarship for International Students 2022.

  • Master’s Degree Program: 2 to 3 Years
  • Doctoral Program: 3 to 4 Years

Benefits of MEXT Japan Scholarship 2022:

  • The institute will provide a tuition fee to students.
  • A travel allowance will be provided.
  • Students are given the Exam fees.
  • Master’s students will receive a stipend of up to 144,000 yen per month.
  • You will get a monthly stipend of up to 145,000 yen if you are a doctoral student.
  • Non-regular students or students in preparatory education will get a monthly stipend of up to 143,000 yen.
  • Transportation allowance will be paid in Japan.

Eligibility Criteria of MEXT Research Scholarship 2022:

  • Pakistani students are eligible for this scholarship.
  • The candidate’s health should be good.
  • Applicants should enroll in a master’s or doctoral program in a Japanese institute.
  • Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree before applying to the master’s degree program.
  • The candidate must have at least a master’s degree before applying for a doctoral degree program.

  • Candidates can download the application form from the official website and submit it at the Embassy of Japan in Pakistan.
  • Applicants should print documents on A4-size paper and unstapled.
